What does the law say?

Private Tenancies (NI) Order 2006, Arts 4A and 4B, and the Tenancy Information Regulations (NI) 2023, in force 1 April 2023: give the tenant the prescribed Tenancy Information Notice, free of charge, within 28 days of the tenancy being granted, and a notice of variation within 28 days of any change. Failure is an offence.
