No. It is recommended good practice rather than a statutory duty in the Republic of Ireland. No statutory electrical certificate or interval in the Republic. S.I. 137/2019, Reg 12 requires electrical installations in good repair and safe working order, and inspectors may ask for a current report from a Safe Electric registered contractor.
